Choose Ortigas when your trip is anchored there

Ortigas is practical when your trip is built around offices, meetings, errands, longer stays, or nearby business hubs.

It is less often the default first-time leisure base. If your main goal is an easy visitor experience, Makati or BGC usually feels simpler.

Local rule of thumb: stay near what must happen on time. In Manila, a practical base beats a theoretically central base.

Use Ortigas when it reduces daily pressure, not just because it looks central on a map.

If your work is in Ortigas, stay in Ortigas instead of commuting from Makati or BGC every day.
If meetings are split across districts, choose the area with the most fixed commitments.
If evenings are for rest, prioritize quiet, soundproofing, and a short ride back after work.
If it is your first leisure trip, use Ortigas only when your plans are actually anchored there.
